The church, where my quilting group meets, has a very large, dark parking lot, so I always make it a point to park near one of the lights.  Thursday night, I guess I parked a little too close. As I turned the steering wheel to the right on pulling out, I heard a loud crunch and realized I had hit  the cement base of the light. On inspection, there were several pieces of plastic on the ground , but it looked drivable, so I went home.

Wes called our insurance company Friday morning and took the car to a body shop so they can work up an estimate.  (He’s a wonderful husband) He thinks the front bumper and the passenger side front quarter panel will have to be replaced. The body shop told him that once the insurance company approves the estimate, we have to make an appointment for the work to be done and, right now, they are booking five weeks out. So, until then…….All fixed
