In spite of the rain on Wednesday, I ran errands in Kingston. One stop was Tranquility to get a pedicure. Even though it’s winter and I’m not wearing sandals, it makes me feel good to have pretty toes. However, going home in flip flops was not pleasant.
I waited until I got home to have lunch because I had bought falafel in the new cafe in Mother Earth. The falafel, on homemade sourdough toast, spread with magic green sauce and garnished with fresh spinach and tomatoes, made a heavenly sandwich. The best part is I bought enough for two sandwiches, so I’m looking forward to today’s lunch.
Pretty toes and an awesome sandwich–shopping in the rain has advantages.
