Wes, knowing how much I love hearts, bought me this handmade mug for Valentine’s Day. It was washed and ready for the hot tea he had made when I returned from my walk yesterday morning.
For lunch, we went to Kodomo in Kingston. My miso soup got in the valentine act with a heart shaped (if you squint) scallion.
Lunch was lovely selection of sushi, edamame, a spring roll, and tempura shrimp and vegetables. Delicious, and filling. As I’m typing this at 8:00 Tuesday night, I’m eating a bowl of Cheerios. Both of us were too full from lunch to even think about cooking dinner. The shrimp we bought for our Valentine dinner will have to wait until tomorrow night. And that’s OK, Valentine’s Day is too nice to only celebrate for one day.
