New Block of the Month

In January, I started on a new block of the month project. Actually, I received the first block in January, but didn’t construct it until this week and until I opened it I didn’t realiz it is two blocks every month. The one pictured is the cosmos block and it has 79! pieces. It took almost two hours to sew and I loved every minute. Once this one was finished, I cut the second block out–
all 65 pieces of it and
sewed it together too. This block is supposed to be delphiniums. With the square petals, I guess the blocks are supposed to be kind of “folk arty”.
Wait till you see the next block—a square cat!
