The first sewing project for Thursday was a tulip wall hanging.  Cathy and I had picked out the greens together, but had chosen different  tulip colors.  Mine, pictured above has bright flowers.

Cathy’s tulips are softer colored, giving her wall hanging a totally different look.

And then, someone else at the retreat hung up her foxes.  Now we have foxes in the tulip garden.

Cathy had done the prep work at home for this tulip wall hanging, so she was able to get all the raw edge appliqué done.  The picture was taken in the evening.   Better lighting would show  how beautiful this is.

I completed block 4 of the flannel cat wall hanging. Each time I finish one, I decide it’s my favorite.
