Saturday was a busy sewing day.  Cathy worked on a quilt for her nephew while I sewed forty sand colored 2 1/2 inch strips together into a quilt that will form the base of a beach quilt. I plan on appliquing beach grass and seashells on it to make a summer quilt.

Then, I started the wall hanging in picture.  It was a kit and the four blocks were supposed to be finished into four separate little quilts.  I decided make a four season wall hanging, but unfortunately, there wasn’t enough fabric for the outside border.  It’s on order (on sale!) and I’ll finish the quilt next week.

Today is our last day🙁, but we’re already looking forward to our next retreat in November.
