Over Christmas, Jessie’s fiancé, Billy,  mentioned his boss had given him an 18 pound turkey and it was too big for them.  We decided to have a family dinner and share his bounty.  Jonathan said he had always wanted to try frying a turkey in his big fryer.  On Saturday, he did and it was fully cooked in a little over an hour.

Everyone contributed, so we had squash casserole, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, homemade rolls and gravy.  It was a springtime Thanksgiving dinner and the consensus was that the turkey was delicious. Plans are already being made for a repeat.

The crocuses finally bloomed!

Timothy and Andrew shared some cousinly love ❤️.

It was a good day.
