We hadn’t planned to venture out yesterday in the rain, but ended up going with Cathy and Dave to a yard sale in Woodstock.   I felt sorry for the people running it. They were under an overhang, and were dry, but it was such a miserable, raw day, I was glad to go home.

And, while we were rained in, I worked on my blocks of the month.  The tulips, pictured above

and the lilies, pictured here are the April blocks.  I’m a little behind.  I’m cutting out the May blocks now and one of them is constructed in a way I’ve never done–English paper piecing–so I’ll be learning a new technique.

It may be a while before that block picture gets posted– maybe the next rainy day.

  1. I’ve never done epp before either, but some of the things I’ve seen people make are gorgeous! And sometimes I wish I had handwork… so maybe I’ll try one if these days.
