While I was putting clothes away in our bedroom, Maggie was sitting on the DVR, keeping me company. She was eyeing up the windowsill and I could almost see the wheels turning in her brain. She jumped onto the bed, realized she couldn’t make it from there, and leaped back to the DVR.
She finally decided she could fit behind the curtain and that’s when I grabbed my phone.
She stayed perched in the window while I finished putting the laundry away, while I showered, and after I came downstairs. I have to make sure the screen is securely attached. Hemlock branches are near the window and I don’t want her lunging at a bird. We had that happen before, arrived home to see the screen on the ground, and the cat outside. That cat survived, thank goodness, but I don’t want to push our, or Maggie’s, luck.
