Wes and I drove to Story Farm yesterday to buy some strawberries. I also bought two more millet plants to go with the one Bonnie gave me, lettuce, and a tiny strawberry/ rhubarb pie. The pie was good but nowhere near as delicious as Aunt Susie’s pie. I facebooked her daughter, Wendy, and asked if she had the recipe. She said her mom kind of winged it when she made it, combining recipes and giving it her own twist. Now, I’m on a mission.
