Yesterday morning when I stepped out to get the newspaper, I immediately went back inside for my camera. The rain from the night before hadn’t dried up yet and the flowers were glistening in the the morning light. We bought these geraniums specifically for the pretty red centers and the profuse blooms are even prettier accented with rain drops. The nasturtium seedlings are doing well and happily bathed in the rain water.
Bonnie gave me a millet plant early in the spring and it’s already sent up a seed pod that caught the droplets and shone in the light.
We are pleased with the dianthus we put in a few years ago. It’s bloomed and spread every season and photographs well with raindrops.
Flowers are always beautiful, but decorated with water drops, they are spectacular.
Pretty!
