I may have mentioned a time or two or six before, but I love Queen Anne’s lace.  It used to grow prolifically along my morning walking route, but since the town has started barbering the roadsides, the Queen Anne’s lace and all other  wildflowers have been reduced from, “Look at all the flowers!” to “Look! A flower!”

I know the shorn roadsides help keep animals safe by ending their cover before they reach a road and I assume it helps keep the bug (tic) level down, but I do miss the flowers.

OK, rant over.
