I have been slowly working on a new quilt project.   What was unusual about this pattern is the first blocks I sewed are border blocks.  Most patterns start at the center of the quilt and work out.  This time I did the exact opposite, but I figure the pattern designer had her reasons. I have the whole stack of border blocks done and will now cut fabric for the first inner block. At least when I finish the center the quilt will assemble quickly.
