The seeds Wes and I planted this spring didn’t meet our expectations at all. We always get sucked in by the beautiful pictures on the seed packets, but reality doesn’t live up to expectations. Case in point– a whole pack of seeds, only eight plants, and so far, only two flowers. There is a volunteer morning glory growing right in the middle of the nasturtiums though, climbing up the stick I rammed into the dirt. We kind of plan the garden and it does what it wants.
Yesterday afternoon, Andrew wanted to ride his scooter around the circle and wanted me to walk with him and watch him do dangerous and “dangerouser” tricks. While walking, and shielding my eyes from the “dangerouser” tricks, I spotted these tiny toadstools in a neighbor’s yard. Actually, that orange color was hard to miss.
And the “dangerouser” tricks only resulted in one, very slightly, skinned knee.
I’m glad Andrew only got a skinned knee with hid dangerouser antics! The orange toadstools really stand out.
