Over the weekend, cousins from my mom’s side of the family gathered in Saugerties for a reunion. They traveled from North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Colorado, and New Jersey, We picnicked at North Lake as we had done many times when we were kids, took lots of pictures, told lots of stories, and caught up on each other’s lives. 
As usual, the scenery was breathtaking to photograph. 
On Sunday, some of us walked to the Saugerties lighthouse, where my generation posed for a picture. Missing here are three of the first cousins that are the children of sisters Olga and Edith. 
This picture is some of the children of the first cousins. (second cousins? or first cousins, once removed?)
We decided to meet for another reunion next June–in Key West, Florida. The planning has already begun.
