When my niece Naomi was here last weekend, I admired her sandals.  They were sturdy enough to walk all over the rough terrain at North Lake and looked nice too.  She told me they were adjustable. The first time you wear them you have to adjust the straps, which are continuous, exactly to fit your foot and then you are  good to go.  I have been looking for for sturdy sandals with an open toe.  All I had seen recently had closed toes, and, in my opinion, they were too much like sneakers. So, I ordered them and waited impatiently by the mailbox for delivery.  There were no directions in the box about adjusting them, so I googled it, and found a YouTube video which I watched several times and then had Wes watch with me.  After twenty minutes of struggling, we had the right sandal adjusted, but the left one was being difficult (or we were being dense).  We took a break, then went back, and finally got it to fit my foot comfortably.

Now, I’m wearing them around inside the house to get used to them. Who knew sandals could be so complicated!
