Wes pointed out this bright orange fungus attached to a tree in the side yard. The picture doesn’t due it justice; it’s actually a much brighter orange. This emerging fungus, and many others like it, pop up in the front yard every summer. After a few days the little one looks like this, or bigger. It’s too bad they’re not good to eat because there are a lot of them.
