Wes called me outside yesterday to see a pretty butterfly on the butterfly bush. I tried to get a picture, but none of them came out well at all. The camera lens for distance is heavy and I have a hard time holding the camera still. (I was using my Canon) In addition, I took some pictures of the Black-eyed Susans in the same garden. These came out okay, as I was leaning on the fence supporting my camera arm. I managed to get a tiny green spider on the Black-eyed Susan too.
And here is the dreadful picture of the Great Spangled Fritillary. I like that they come around because I love saying their name.
Black eyed Susan’s are one of my favorites. This year it seems like we have more butterflies than we ever did but I never looked them up to know their names.

Butterflies are hard. A lot of them look alike.
