JOn Sunday, Wes, Jonathan, Natasha, Andrew, Corey, Daisy, Desi, and I walked to the lighthouse. Corey and Wes brought their binoculars and spotted Great Blue Herons and Green Herons. Jonathan was teasing them by pretending he had binoculars too, which was pretty funny.
The tide was the lowest I had ever seen making it great for wading.
The kids picked some jewelweed on our walk out and dunked it in the water to watch the leaves turn silver.
Natasha and Desi are very intent on the silver leaves,
while Andrew dug a channel.
The lighthouse walk is always fun. There’s something new to see every time we go and experiencing it with and through the eyes of children is priceless.
