When I returned from vacation, the September block of the month was waiting in the pile of mail. While getting caught up on laundry was my first priority, my sewing machine was calling too.  Cathy had taken both of our machines to Log Cabin Fabrics while I was gone, to be picked up by a driver from Gloversville Sewing Center. The machines were thoroughly cleaned, serviced, and returned to Log Cabin for pick up.

The greenhouse block was fun to put together.  The shingles were the new technique-every block in this quilt features a new technique.   Some I knew about and some are new to me too. While I was working on this block, the October block was delivered.  I’ve already started work on it.
