After two days of intense sewing, my geometry quilt top is done!  I had seen a picture of a similiar quilt on Instagram and was intrigued both by the rainbow shading and the shapes. I emailed the maker and asked what size blocks she had made (size is hard to tell from a picture)  She  told me twelve inch blocks and from that information, it was easy to draft the block pattern on  graph paper.  Wes helped by checking my math/fabric calculations and with the chart for color placement. The rest was just sewing  Right now it measures 84” by 84”, so the next decision is borders to bring it to queen size.
