After not making any cards last year, I sorted through two years of on-line pictures on Monday and decided which ones to print. With Wes’s help, I tried something new: sending the pictures from my home computer directly to CVS, which worked fine after he figured out how to do it.

In years past, I’ve had marathon card making days, which resulted in a very sore shoulder, so this year I’m making 30 a day until they’re all done.  From card making I moved to miniature stockings, each one numbered, for an Advent garland.  The picture is the stockings, layered right sided together, ready for stitching. One tiny finished stocking.

The fabric the stockings came printed on was very soft and floppy, so I’m lining each one to make it stiff enough to hang from the garland, which is double the construction—48 instead of 24. Advent starts December 1st. I better get busy!
