After making a vat of chicken soup on Saturday morning for Christmas Eve dinner, Wes and took a ride to Rhinebeck and Williams’ Lumber. They always have a beautiful Christmas display and lots of unusual ornaments for sale. This year, however , the display wasn’t as extensive as it’s been.  The store had part of the roof collapse, and while they are open, and fully functional, there just wasn’t time to create the Christmas wonderland of years past. We did enjoy looking at what they hadespecially the ornaments. We did buy a new set of lights to string along our mantel. Going there just before Christmas has it’s advantages—the lights were on sale.
