When Leslie and I walked on Thursday morning after almost two weeks off due to frigid weather and my foot injury, the sky was spectacular. 
I’ve always believed in the old sailors’ story of “red sky at morning sailors take warning” and if the weather prediction for today was correct, the adage came true again. 
Even with phone and electric wires in the picture, the sky was breathtaking. I missed so much in the last two weeks, I’m glad I didn’t miss this.
