4 Blocks

I still don’t have all the units done, but I had enough to lay out four blocks to see the secondary patterns. This is the designer’s original block minus the sashing which I’m not making.

Like  last time, I turned around the flying geese units. Better, but still not my favorite.

Block 3 layout.  This one is growing on me. Block 4 layout.  This was my favorite as a single block, but I’m thinking 3 and 4 are tied now.  Next step is to lay them out with plain sashing between each block. It will cut down on the “busyness” of the layouts and give the individual blocks some breathing room.

Back to the sewing room.
