New Furniture

At the end of December, Wes and I ordered a new couch and a recliner from Tip Top Furniture. Jonathan took our old recliner and Wes sold the couch on the Saugerties on-line yard sale. Yesterday, our new couch and recliner were delivered and after lunch Wes had to see if the couch napped as well as the old one. Judging from the snores coming from the living room, it napped just fine. 
Also yesterday, in hopes of keeping Maggie and Maizie from scratching on the new furniture, we bought the cats a climbing bed/scratching post. I put Maggie in it where she lasted about five minutes. Maizie wanted nothing to do with it. Wes then sprinkled some catnip on it in hopes of enticing the cats. They’re still not interested, but it may take a few days. We’ll see.

New furniture is always fun! Cats do things in their own time so there is still time!
