Late Thursday morning, I wandered around with my camera in the front yard. Most of the snow was in the process of falling off the branches (and down my neck) but there was still some on the trees.  This picture was taken looking up into a hemlock. I liked all the points of light. How did this stay balanced? In the backyard, the lilacs were starting to bud,and then I saw this. We couldn’t see it from the house as the deck gate blocks our view. It doesn’t look like the pool suffered any damage. The cover is still intact, so it’s just sawing up the tree and dragging it away. You know what we’re going to be doing this weekend

  1. The one picture with snow on the trees looks like a funny shaped dog.
