Embroidery Show–Part 2
There were several long tables set up along the wall at the embroidery show to display the smaller pieces that couldn’t be hung. This little Christmas scene was charming with lots of detail. I wanted to walk into the cheery scene and visit. The clothes for the “paper” doll were all stitched, along with the doll and then mounted in a frame. It would be perfect hanging in a little girl’s room.
Wine charms– a wonderful way to keep track of your wine glass at a get together.
The texture in this sand dollar piece made it look like a sand dollar actually feels.
Flowers on a stone wall. From the catalog “Quilting, weaving, beadwork, wire flowers and water color painting” A mixed media piece for sure!
There was a whole display of tatted pieces. As someone who attempted tatting a very long time ago with absolutely no success, I am blown away by the beautiful work.
There was also a boutique table with various items for sale. I bought a hand stitched book mark and a flower pin. As I was paying, I looked out the window and noticed the forsythia bush starting to bloom. All those beautiful stitches and flowers too. The day was a winner, for sure.
