Every spring, I wait by the front garden for the fiddleheads to poke their heads up. This year, I totally forgot all about them until I saw them, already up, and some starting to unfurl into ferns.Knowing it was going to rain on Sunday, I waited to take pictures
and it paid off. Sometimes brain lapses happen for a reason.
Aren’t fiddleheads edible?
