A Week in Florida, Post 4
One morning, Bonnie and I took a short walk to an art gallery. There was an exhibit entitle Four Footed and Fanciful that looked intriguing The lions are a detail from a much larger charcoal work. The artist did the shading with a white sock on her hand. Spectacular! 
Another artist made collage pictures. Magazine snippets were arranged into the pictures. From a distance, they looked like paintings. Up close, we could pick out the interesting shapes and pictures from the original magazine pages. 
The third artist painted whimsical watercolors. Bonnie bought a print of three portly cats and I’m still kicking myself for not buying this print. Something about the expression on the birds’ faces and the blue shoes spoke to me. 
This is another collage. A mother’s love is evident no matter what the species.
