I started out with 50 Farm Girl Vintage blocks, and with the help of fellow retreaters, laid out 48 into a quilt top. In the above picture, I’m sewing on the flying geese border, one of four borders on the quilt. Here, Cathy is sewing borders on a baby quilt. Both of us will finish the quilt tops today and move onto the next projects.
We finished the day with a dip in the hot tub (and pool to cool off) with a glass of wine. The hot tub felt great on aching shoulders from sitting at the sewing machine. We suffer for our art.
You are a happy sufferer!mcan’t wait to see the quilt top finished!
