A couple of weeks ago, I told you how my basic camera lens had died while I was in England, resulting in me taking pictures on my iPhone for the rest of the trip. After trouble shooting with Canon tech support, I found out my 18-55 lens had died and it was unfixable because it is almost ten years old.
While I was on the phone with tech support, Wes contacted a friend of his from the BlueKats men’s club, who is a photographer, to pick his brain a bit about purchasing a new lens or whatever I should do.
Doug mentioned that he had an extra lens like the one I needed and would sell it to me.
I picked the lens up yesterday to use on a trial basis to see if I liked it. These pictures are the first ones I snapped when I arrived home. I think it’s a keeper. What do you think?
I thing so! Good thing Doug had one to sell you otherwise it would have been more costly.
