Yesterday evening, Wes and I, taking along Bonnie, Paul, Wayne and Barbara, took a second look a house that just came on the market. We really liked the house, but wanted to get some opinions on the work that needed to be done to it, and on the basic structure. As we stepped out of the car, Bonnie looked down and spotted this praying mantis in the front garden. I had heard that they are supposed to bring good luck, so I figured it was a good sign. In writing this blog, I googled praying mantis and luck and found the highlighted article. I liked the idea that the praying mantis “is a sign to be mindful of the choices you are making and confirm these choices are congruent.” That is probably a better thought than it bringing good luck, but either way, I’m happy we saw it.
