In my journal, I had copied a lovely poem about crocuses. I was saving it for when the crocuses bloomed around here. Yesterday, I was having issues with not being able to receive e-mails on my tablet. Wes gallantly did battle with Time Warner to get my e-mail password changed, because the password was listed in my journal, which has vanished off the face of the earth. The journal is usually somewhere downstairs, on the kitchen or dining room table. It. Is. Gone. All we can think of is that it somehow got mixed up with the newspapers for recycling. My journal is not just for my innermost thoughts and dreams. There’s lots of other stuff in there: Christmas gift lists for the past couple of years, menus from different family get togethers, to do lists for whenever we’ve had a lot to do, because it’s so satisfying to cross off a completed task, poetry (mine and others) quotes, ticket stubs and the list goes on and on. I have another journal to start over again, but that one had several years of my life recorded and it was fun to look back. So anyway, here’s the picture of the crocuses, with whining from me instead of a lovely poem. I’m going to decorate the front of the new journal so it’s really bright, noticeable and hopefully, much harder to lose.
Happy Birthday Bonnie!
