I have been wrestling with a wall hanging I’m making.  And, I literally mean wrestling. It’s 49 x 49 inches and already has the top, batting and backing basted together.  It’s faster to finish that way, but it’s hard to stuff it through the sewing machine at times and my shoulders get achy from battling with it.  So, for some R and R, I worked on something smaller.  It’s not quite symmetrical, the outer ring is flat on the left side–something I didn’t realize until it was ironed down.  I will remake it to fix that.  This is a pattern by Karen Pratt, one of the ladies who run the quilt retreat that Cathy and I went to in March.  OK, break over–back to the big wall hanging.
