Wes and I attended the grades 3 and 4 spring concert yesterday morning. Timothy, in 3rd, played the recorder and Natasha, in 4th, played the trombone. I took pictures, but it was very dark in there and they came out terrible. We enjoyed the music and were very surprised, along with the music teacher, how many people attended. It was standing room only.
Afterwards, Wes and I headed to Catskill to grocery shop and we also stopped in the greenhouse at the Ace Hardware store. We’re always on the lookout for something different. The six packs of plants were marked down to $1.69, so we absolutely had to buy this pack of dahlias. I think this is the only one like it in the pack, but I’m sure the others will be pretty too. The flower on the bottom had no identification, but we took a chance. Now to figure out where to plant it–shade? sun? partial? Decisions, decisions……
