Yesterday afternoon was the Mustang Bowl at Morse School.  The fifth (Natasha) and sixth graders have been staying after school for weeks practicing and learning plays.  Each player was introduced at the beginning and ran a lap around the field and then the game started.  They played four full quarters of touch football.  I am the first to admit I know nothing about football, but even I got caught up in the excitement of watching.  There was halftime entertainment of the cheer squad too.  (The students got to choose whether they wanted to play or be on the cheer squad).

It was a lovely afternoon spent outside in fresh air, watching kids be kids.  There isn’t a better way to spend time.
