When we picked up Natasha and Andrew at the bus stop yesterday, they talked about taking a last dip in the pool. Both of them changed their minds when Wes told them the water temperature was 67 degrees. The kids were a huge help when we covered the pool an hour later, holding the edge, and preventing it from falling into the water, while Wes and I threaded the cord around the perimeter.
Another swimming season is over. I’m sure the kids will miss the pool, but I’m sure Wes won’t miss the work.
