Last Friday morning, Bonnie, Liz, and I took Amtrak into Manhattan. We had afternoon tickets to the Downton Abbey exhibit. (I just realize I’m doing the posts backwards—oh well) There were many over-the-top decorations and I loved all of them, starting with the Rockefeller Center tree. It’s magnificent! These decorations are much more impressive at night, but I knew i wouldn’t get back , so I took the pictures when I saw the decorations.
The trees came in all shapes and sizes—-large, larger, and gigundo.
Some just had lights and some had decorations too.
Multiple trees make a happy festive statement.
One color dramatic.
Lots of lights.
A nutcracker/soldier watching over all
And a fountain full of baubles.
There’s nothing like a trip to Manhattan, especially at Christmas.
