The main reason for the cousin reunion was to have a memorial service for my cousin Dyanne, who died last October. Twenty seven of us gathered on the beach, read poetry, remembered Dyanne, and cast chrysanthemums into the surf. The flowers promptly floated back to the shore, only to be taken out by the tide later.
