room full of quilters

Cathy and I woke up during the night Friday into Saturday morning to the sound of ice pellets hitting the tin roof.  The scene from our balcony was slushy snow covering everything and making our outside descent to the main floor a little tricky.  We were the only two sewing until about 3pm when the other quilters started arriving.  They quickly set up their machines and got to work.  We broke for dinner, show and tell, and a fun game. ( I won one of the prizes)  Then, everyone started sewing again. Cathy and I came upstairs about 11pm.  It gets to the point where you’re so tired that mistakes can easily be made, so it’s time to quit.  Then, we get to do it all over again today!
